Appearance
there is truly nothing fancy about ghost's appearance. she basically lives up to her name and her breed. with a dull white coat, she seems to blend in to the surroundings with an eerie glow. for example, when the night is full of shadows, her fur can appear as a faded shadow or mist, giving off a ghostly appearance. as for her size, ghost is nothing but the average. she isn't too small, nor is she too large. she fits right into the basic of her breed. however, her build is rather slender and slim, showing off her age and lonely travels. while she isn't well fed, she isn't starved either. and underneath all of that thick fur, she is nothing but lean, strong muscle. ghost has long legs that allow her to move at quick paces and gives her strong agility. while her fur is mostly white, it carries brown tints from life in the forest and has stained in certain places, especially on her paws and underbelly. finally, ghost's once honey-hued and bright as are a deep red.
Personality
ghost is the kind of canine that was born to lead. for the most part, she is a kind and open wolf, with a lot of intake on the world around her. she is observant, ready to find her way around things that could be trouble or take advantage of what can do her good. however, she still has that aurora of dominance. she is not the kind of canine that will submit when told, or drop to the ground because a canine is bigger than her. she is confident in herself, and more than ready to prove her strength to just about anyone. while she does have this violent need to be in charge, she can be a sweet-heart as well. for those who choose to follow her lead or travel with her, she is kind and sees them as family. however, once they try and overstep their claims, she is not hesitant to put them back in their place.
ghost is rather strategic as well. she knows where to look for resources and has been in the world long enough to tell the difference between something helpful and worthless. because of this, she has a very high lack of patience. she expects those around her age or at least at the peak of maturity, to understand that they are adults and should act like one. this doesn't mean that she is a stick in the mud, but she has no tolerance for pup-like games and getting into unnecessary trouble. ghost is much like the nurturing type, and believes in second chances as well as acceptance. she didn't get it a lot when she was younger and is always open to give a canine a chance. however, if they neglect this trust, she will not hesitate to teach them a lesson. finally, she is very optimistic and adventurous. while she can remain calm in the most chaotic of situations, she loves the sense of adventure. she is also open minded enough to take all aspects of a situation into mind before jumping to a conclusion.
Background
ghost was born in the heart of the north side reserve. her family wasn't a large pack, to say the least. it was made up of her mother and father, a couple generations of her siblings, and then ghost's litter. this only made their pack about seven wolves large. sure, it wasn't much of a problem, as there were plenty of them to hunt and keep up their numbers, but because they were all related so closely, the only breeding pair in their group was the parents. around the time ghost was born, there weren't many other wolves in the area. her family was well known for their blunt trauma and strong bodies. basically, they kept their territory properly defended, and because of this, no loners or small bands of wolves dared to trespass. this left the youngest pups and their older siblings a very lonely, boring life. while they had each other, there were no other bonds to form, and everything just seemed dull and worthless.
up until the final litter (the one ghost was born in), everything seemed to work out fine. but, everything was going to change when the solid white pup was born, and her dauntless nature brought many troubles to her family pack. unlike her brothers and sisters before her, ghost couldn't settle for playing with her siblings or chasing a few rabbits when the older wolves were out hunting. and as she grew into her years of adolescence(1-2 years) she grew bored and restless of being stowed away in the camp. no matter how many times the young she wolf begged her parents to let her leave the territory and start a life of her own, they simply told her the life she was born into was tradition and that she wasn't going to be the one to change it. this only infuriated the pup, and by the time she was three, things were going to change.
ghost knew that asking her parents permission would only result in stricter rules and more family feuds, she waited until all the wolves had gone to sleep. then, she snuck out of the camp and made her way for the edge of the border. and when she crossed, her whole life seemed to open in front of her. the possibilities for her life were endless, the world was so big! and from that day forward, she never turned back. now, as a four year old, ghost is determined to build her own pack, though hers will be a mix of bloodlines, pure and not. it didn't matter, but she was not going to limit the outcome of her pack. they would grow with the seasons and fight for their rights. it was going to be perfect.
