Appearance
focusing on his appearance after being mutated, hypnosis holds the build of a skinny, starved german shepherd like dog. his fur is thicker and longer than most, usually good at protecting him when he battle with others. his canines are long and pointed, blood-stained from the multiple kills he has made of his own kind. he has strange, plant like tendrils that grow from just above his eyes, the tips of his ears, and on his tail. each place carries two, long tendrils. the ones on his ears were the most painful, as the weight of the growth stretched them out. his eyes and tail ones weren't as bad, as they were caused earlier in the mutation when he would scratch at his skin until it was bare and raw. he has piercing blue eyes, that are so light, he almost appears blind.
Personality
manipulative: the main trait of hyno is instantly his art of manipulation. he is never truly happy with friends and he believes that he doesn't have them. he simply has little toy soldiers that he can pick and choose which ones he wants, and he will do what he wants with them. of course, he doesn't let them know that.
chaotic: chaos is this bad boys middle name. he loves trouble and is bound to cause any storm he can, everywhere he goes. he specializes in befriending two canines that are close together, then putting out bait for drama, and watching as the two go head to head.
battle-hungry: he loves the blood, he loves the betrayal, and everything that comes in between. hypno's goes out looking for a fight and for the most part, he usually finds one. if he can't get a fight on his own terms, he is more than willing to manipulate others to do it for him.
intelligent: while he seems to be a no good, nasty canine, he is super smart. he is able to come up with his own battle plans and ways to get toys for his collections. how could he be the master of manipulation if he wasn't smart enough to draw out his own plans? he is a quick thinker and a problem solver, who knows how to make himself innocent until proven guilty. you are best not to challenge him.
flirtatious: another way to get what you want is to charm the one you wish to conquer. with his curious mutations and swooning nature, he is bound to get the attention of both sides, as he doesn't care who he wants. it isn't like he is capable of love, and for the most part, only wants to get in ones pants for royal offspring, or to have you do his deeds.
loyal: despite his evil nature, he is loyal to the ones that follow him and the executioner of the ones who do not. he will give you a choice - be loyal to him, or die at his paws. there is no in between.
Background
born into the streets of what used to be a human civilization, it was never known what kind of dog hypnosis was supposed to be. his father left the second he was born, and he and his mother were left in the dark alleys. the birth had been hard on his mother, as hypno was a large pup, even at birth. he did have a brother, but the tiny thing was a still born. while his mother recovered, hypno spent most of his time suckling. but, from the moment he could walk, he lived up to his name.
he would constantly go up to random dogs who would pass by and look at them with big, wide eyes. they would see his ribs and then he would lead them to his sickly mother, where they would usually feel pity and fetch the two something to eat. he loved playing the minds of the kind and he was good at it. as he got older and stronger, his mother got weaker. day by day, she looked more fragile and all she wanted to do was eat and drink. now around a year old and growing faster than ever, he needed more than she did.
without a single bit of pity in his body, the yearling slaughtered his mother, and since food was bleak, he ate what parts of her body had not decayed. for the next few years, hypno would bounce from place to place. sometimes he would settle with a gang, sometimes he would travel on his own, but he never stayed for long. when he was around four years old, the place he once called home was demolished and the humans fled. eventually, this wild place would become the north that is seen today. mother nature had taken over what had once been hers.
hypnos rarely left the north. and he commonly would threaten anyone who dare approach him for stupid reasons. of course, when the mutations set in, he was one of the first to be effected. it wasn't truly known what kind of dog he was before, but there was surely no way to find out now. the virus he contracted made his fur fall out and leave rashes and scabs where he would scratch at the raw spaces.
he even went as far to rub his head to the ground and try to itch it that way. within a couple more years, his body began to change. his fur grew back, longer than before and much thicker. and the places above his eyes that had been so scarred where he had itched, grew plant like tendrils from them. these budding appearances were on the tips of his ears, which were painfully stretched by the weight, his tail, and his eyes - each carrying two nature bound creations.
he would learn to live with this of course, and it seemed to scare away the creatures who saw him. and being the loner he was, he was fine with that.
