Kore's Calling
the most wonderful things sprout from the death and decay of the old
Humans and dogs alike tell a tale of a beautiful fertility goddess who had been tricked by the ruler of the underworld into marriage. The humans know her as Persephone, but to the canines, she is Kore. At first, Kore was miserable, but she learned to adjust to the new world. Soon, Kore was not only adjusting to her circumstance, but she was thriving in it. As queen, Kore she executed her powers by the likes that the underworld had never seen; she brought color to it. She gave the good residents a sanctuary and the bad ones a prison. She became the muse, the power, and the face of the underworld.
This is a pack for those who are put into the world of decay, despair, and disarray and own it. There are no damsels or birthright kings here; only self-made rulers.
Amethysts: The Alpha/ Alphas and their mates. They are more than proven their ability by thawing a frozen heart. These guys and gals are allowed to declare war, promote canines, permit breeding of the lower ranks, derank lower dogs to pales, and pardon the pales. The Alpha or Alphess can ultimately overthrow the decision of the mates, however.
Azures: Specialized dogs that have found their niche within the pack. Whether they are good at medical abilities, fierce fighters, excellent spies, wonderful dancers or any other skill in between, they wear blue to establish that messing with them has repercussions.
Chartreuse: The common dog of the pack. All fierce fighters, all fun party dogs, all ready to ride at the drop of a dime. When its time to roll out, they wear green.
Crimsons: These are the veterans of the pack. They have served their time well as members or made such an honorable sacrifice that they can live a life of luxury. Their scars are marked with red dye to symbolize their valor, so when you see them, you better bow your head.
Scarlets: The pups and inexperienced of the pack. Typically by 10 months of age, the scarlet pups undergo training from the older members. Members who join and are placed here must do a lot of catch up and have it hard, but it builds character.
Pales: The lowest of the low; even lower than even the pups. These are those who have done wrong in the pack, kidnapped for one reason or another, or prisoners of war. They must do what any other member above them tells them to without question and must constantly keep sand and mud from the bank in their coats to appear dirty and inferior to the rest. When they are pardoned, there is a big ceremony to welcome them in as kin, however.
1.With us or against us: What you do to outside dogs are none of Chiraq' business. If you can handle it, then handle it.
2. Don't be an asshole though: don't roll up on pack territories unless there is an official declaration of war.
3. This isn't matchmaker: you must get permission if you wish to have pups with your mate or a pale;
4. Top Dog : Wolves, Coyotes, Jackals, Foxes, Hyenas, and all non-dog hybrids can join, but they are a little shiest, so they will have to prove themselves to make rank.
5. Yes, we have an honor code. No killing pups or mothers in or out the pack or you will be killed in return(though you will be commended for dognapping them.) Everyone else is game if you are willing to take responsibility if its a packmate you are targeting.
6. We're all in this together. Stay loyal to the pack. Once you are in, you can't get out. Don't worry; we party together as much as we fight together.
7.Accept the Curse: those who are uninfected must receive the bite if they wish to join. Trust me, its better this way; the mosquitoes at the lake stop biting infected.

OOC Notes:
If you wish to join, make a thread stating that you are at the entrance of the pack and give a howl.
If you play a type of dog who is willing to dognap/pupnap others, make sure to put a warning in your threads of the potential so that you don't upset your rp partner.
If you succeed in dognapping/pupnapping, make a thread of you bringing them to the entrance and howling just like a joining thread.
