Appearance
Personality
Vasha, first and foremost, sees himself as the champion of justice. The bringer of light to even the darkest corners of the world, and the vanquisher of ne'er-do-wells. He has a strong sense of justice that few to none can break; he knows what is right, knows what is wrong, and will spare nothing in his 'quest' to set things straight that the ages have otherwise forgotten.
However valiant it may seem, when others do get to know him better, they may realize that his sense of 'right' and 'wrong' isn't what he makes it to seem. Where he sees innocents, struggling to get by in the world, and being punished for their last ditch efforts at survival, most others would quickly put them as marauders. Those who he claims as hunters of sport? Murderers. Seldom does Vasha not defend someone fiercely who otherwise would be cast out or killed themselves; they are his 'people', and he will do everything he can to protect them. But by doing anything and everything he can to 'protect' those he takes a liking to, Vasha can become more than a little...obsessive.
Sometimes it's over just one other person, sometimes a group. Sometimes it's even over rocks or a certain constellation in the sky; it doesn't matter what it really is, Vasha simply has a reputation for obsessing over every minute detail of said person or thing. What he obsesses the most about them, however, is their safety.
Vasha is not only obsessive, but incredibly dominant and possessive. What is his is his alone, and he will put any other weakling into place without a second thought to prove it. It is for their safety, after all, that he keep his most precious of people and things away from the rest of the world. If his precious leaves him, he won't hesitate to hunt them down and drag them back; they obviously don't understand what's best for them.
Of course, Vasha does his best to stifle any thoughts of leaving him or his group on a daily basis. His commanding presence and radiating dominance is usually enough to instill fear into the hearts of those beneath him. His speeches often try to worm their way into his subject's minds, leaving them weak and vulnerable. What would they do without him? He was their protector, their champion, their savior. He had dragged them from the ashes of their past lives and into the glorious dawn of the coming age. Where would they be if he had not saved them? What would they be if they tried to defy him? The same as those that he had liberated them from.
But as commanding and strong as Vasha projects himself to be, he's not exactly the brightest bulb in the box. He does not understand humor, sarcasm, irony, or anything that isn't blatantly obvious. If it isn't laid out for him, he likely won't catch it. He gets confused easily, and he hates being confused. Vasha's temper is a fierce one, and nothing riles it up more than someone making him feel mentally inferior.
He is big. He can be intimidating. But where he has the brawn, he most certainly lacks the brain. While many have condemned Vasha, he truly means well in all that he does, in his own way.
