In her former life, Yurei - Nallaki then - was bold and outspoken, a fiery entity among a fiery people. She was quick to snarl and grow angry, quick to put others in their place, but she was also quick to love, with a burning passion that blazed brighter the more she grew to feel for those close to her. Now, however, she is silent and, well... ghostly. Her presence rarely goes unnoticed however, since an echo of her formerly fierce personality lingers just beneath the surface, awaiting the chance to once again boil up and ignite either in anger or in passion.
Background
Yurei, formerly Nallaki, was born long ago, within a wild pack roaming wide open plains and fields. Growing up in such an environment blessed her with skills not many possess, with a body packed with lean muscle and a bite fiercer than most. As she aged, she became alpha of said pack of dogs, her rule unquestioned and unchallenged. Due to this, she became one of the fiercest canines around, having developed a healthy pride and boundless confidence. With her physique being all slender lines and lissom legs, she quickly became one of the fastest dogs in the land. Alas, she passed away due to a famine that killed the prey and caused starvation. Eventually, however, with no feasible explanation, she found herself roaming the earth once more, a dog by day, a spirit at night. Due to this, she changed her name to Yurei, with "yu" meaning "faded or dim" and "rei" meaning "spirit or ghost". She bestows her original name only to those she considers dear to her. Having died at age three, she is trapped in such a body, never aging - despite her having been an unknown for some sixty-nine years.
