THE OTHERS-canines and other species that have been exposed longer than the Originals. they have been mutated. They may have unique eye coloring (NOTHING FANTASY-ISH), two tails, and other attributes. the virus had made them immortal to an extent. they are still changing and evolving. some have even changed their physical appearance. their canines have become longer almost like a vampire's...and some have developed a taste for blood...
THE NORMALS-canines that are infected with the virus but haven't shown any signs yet. the virus is still somewhat inactive right now. if they bite, the virus wont show symptoms yet for almost a year or more. depending on how long the host has been without them themselves. they tend to keep to themselves. (These are basically 'loners' and do not belong to a pack or gang)
THE ORIGINALS-those that have been infected with the virus and are showing some signs. mostly red eyes. they tend to show symptoms such as agility and extra strength . they have been around for a long time. they look like normal canines with the exception of the red eyes. and the other attributes. if they bite someone, that virus will be transferred over to the new host. the old host stays the same with no changes whatsoever.
THE GANGS-canines and other species that have formed 'gangs' or packs. They roam from one place to the next never really settling down. they are made up of all different individuals. some of them are mixed of others, originals and everything in between. they sometimes like to cause trouble and practice thievery. they like to steal from others to benefit themselves. they tend not to care about others.
THE ELITE-once pets, they are now thrown out into the world. they are clean with no virus. they have remnants of their old life. collars, bandannas and some jewelry. they were forced to now fend for themselves and are sometimes stuck in their old ways. they are unfamiliar with the world around them but they are quickly learning.
THE UNKNOWN--canines that have become deceased and have returned in a non-corporeal way. basically these are 'ghosts' . during the day they are solid and normal, but at night they become transparent. they can interact with anyone normally. they have their fauclties and remember everything about their life. it's unknown why they came back the way they did.
THE UNHOLY-due to the virus and the unknown elements that make it up, some canines have developed a taste for 'blood'. they do not like the daylight and tend to come out more during the night. they are classified as 'vampires'. their canines are much longer than normal. they basically work like a regular human vampire and have the same abilities and powers. (See below for acceptable abilities/powers)
