osiris
Fate has been cruel and order unkind How can I have sent you away? The blame was my own; the punishment, yours The harmony's silent today But into the stillness I'll bring you a song And I will your company keep Till your tired eyes and my lullabies Have carried you softly to sleep

This is Osiris. He's a cutie patootie born from a line of stick in the muds with superiority complexes. According to his family, anyone who doesn't have their blood is filth and should not be bothered with. This discrimination and their ideals are forced onto their pups. To go against the family means severe punishment and the possibility of being kicked out of the family. To be kicked out is to have your identity stripped away from you, to be outcasted by those you loved, and to be treated like the very filth you had been taught to despise since you were young. Osiris is terrified of losing his family, and he always makes sure to look over his shoulders whenever meeting other canines.
Osiris is a troubled dog despite putting forth a positive, naive front in front of others. He might act like the dog who would have friends by the plenty, but he keeps others at bay. He doesn't want to get too close or too involved. He grows inconsiderate of another's emotions just so he has the possibility of keeping his own emotions in check. His mind is constantly warring with the darkness of his family's bloodline, and the bloodline of any canine who has become infected. Manage to get close enough to him, and you might begin to see the subtle changes throughout the day.
Really, he's open for any sort of plot or relationship. I'm not going to bother explaining friends and whatnot for that very reason. Friends, enemies, rivals, family-esque bonds (hell, if you want to take up someone related to him, be my guest), etc. all work. If you want some romance, however, you will have to work your tail off for it. I don't really see him pining after anyone, so it will probably be the other way around until he can realize what the strange feeling in his chest is.
