The Claim:
it wasn't like the young wolf to drag herself out of the woods and find herself on the land that the humans once stepped upon. but, today had been different. she had woken up and had a strong draw toward the north, and she couldn't seem to hold herself back. so, she rose to her paws and began her travel. it was about a two day walk before she had found what she was looking for. her red-eyed gaze found an abandoned farm, a huge piece of land with a barn, a house, and plenty of wildlife just lurking. it was beautiful, to say the least, and it was perfect. it was plenty large enough to hold a pack of a very large size, and just the thought of it made the white wolf's heart dance with excitement.
finally, she was ready to investigate. first came the barn. she ducked her head as she slid through the cracked doors and wiggled her body through. the sun made lit up the large area. inside, there were big, box like cages - though they were made of wood and only had one opening - that she could only assume held the larger farm animals. inside of the cages were soft bedding material that would be perfect for sleeping. and up a ladder, there was plenty of hay to curl in as well. not to mention all of the rodents and birds that were hiding about. the wolf then turned her attention to the house. she managed to get in through a cracked window. inside it smelt musky, but it was nice. the humans had left plenty of furniture and like the barn, there were plenty of rodents.
with a land this big and plenty of shelter, the possibilities were endless for the wolf. her dream was finally about to come true. she bounded to the center of the land and raised her head to the sky. opening her muzzle she let out a deep howl, one that called to the homeless and threatened the ones that might try and take her new found home from her.
